...and this time it looks like it won't suck like the last ones.

I don't want to even watch it for fear it will be good and make me mad again about the train-wreck star trek movies he made.

I might be the exception to the popular opinion, but as a guy who watched all of the Star Trek series growing up, I liked his versions. I would to see a little more McCoy though. He was always my favorite, never taking any shit from the captain.

I won't get excited until I see reviews after the movie is out. Episodes 1-3 killed any excitement for new Star Wars.

There are things I liked but the more I think about them the story and plots were lazy storytelling IMHO. I wish he would have made movies involving the "Mirror Universe" instead. And this is coming from a huge Alias/JJ Abrams fan.

My judgement is reserved 'til opening weekend. The teaser did not instill confidence in me, though. It will be better than I-III, but it's not hard to make better films than those.

As far as I'm concerned, there were no episodes 1-3, in much the same way I am confused when they call the matrix a trilogy when there was only one movie made.

I have now adopted your outlook on life. I can't watch the matrix anymore. It just makes me angry
